Martin E. Long
The founder of the firm, Martin Long, attended the University of Denver
College of Law and started practicing law in 1983 with an emphasis in
creditor-debtor relations. Later, he was appointed as a bankruptcy
trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court District of Colorado
where he successfully administered thousands of bankruptcies. He has
offered various seminars educating both attorneys and trade association
members in the area of bankruptcy law. For over 25 years, Martin has
been litigating in the County Courts and District Courts of Colorado.
He has also handled legal matters before the United States District
Court and has successfully appealed cases in the Colorado Supreme Court
and the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Joann R. Long
Joann Long is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
University (Virginia Tech) where she earned a degree in Business
Administration. Then she attended Drake University Law School in Iowa
and started practicing law in 1984 handling primarily domestic relations
matters. From 1991 to 1996, Joann was employed by the Colorado Supreme
Court Disciplinary Counsel investigating grievances against attorneys.
Currently, Joann is assisting in providing quality legal service for
all clients of the practice.
